The 2025 Hong Kong Digital Asset Forum, initiated by SNZ Holding and co-hosted with Web3 Innovation Hub, successfully concluded at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on November 2, 2025. The forum was also co-organized with the Ethereum Foundation, Futu Holdings, HashKey Group, ALMAD Group, Canopy, and Finoverse, and received strong support from multiple organizations including OASES (Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises), Cyberport, HCFA (Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong), HKDAS (Hong Kong Digital Asset Society), and HKVCA (Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association).
This year's forum provided a high-quality communication platform for global digital asset professionals, attracting over 300 top experts from diverse fields including government organizations, institutional investment, family offices, traditional finance, technology enterprises, and blockchain innovation projects. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on industry trends and explored future development opportunities.

The forum was honored to have Mr. Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, deliver the opening speech. He systematically reviewed Hong Kong's key progress in building a Web3 and digital asset ecosystem, outlined future development paths and regulatory approaches, and expressed high expectations for the industry, setting the tone of "developing under regulation, standardizing through innovation." Additionally, Tomasz Stańczak, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, was invited to share his forward-looking insights on the theme "Ethereum's 2026 Goals and Asian Milestones," outlining the development blueprint for Ethereum and blockchain technology in Asia under Hong Kong's locational and policy advantages.

The forum also featured several key figures in policy-making and regulation for a fireside chat, including Eric Yip, Executive Director (Intermediaries) of the Securities and Futures Commission; Peter Yan, Director-General of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises; and King Leung, Global Head of Financial Services, Fintech, and Sustainability at Invest Hong Kong. The discussion was moderated by Duncan Chiu, Legislative Council Member for Technology and Innovation Functional Constituency. Centered on the macro-theme Bridging Policy to Practice, the conversation provided clear policy interpretation and practical guidance by analyzing the alignment between policy direction and market implementation.

The forum also included multiple panel discussions with senior representatives from institutions such as UBS, Goldman Sachs, Futu, ZA Global, HashKey Capital, ALMAD Group, RD Technologies, Yunfeng Financial, as well as leading crypto projects and organizations including the Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum, Chainlink, Taiko, Nethermind, and the Ethereum Applications Guild (EAG). Speakers provided a feast of intellectual exchange across key dimensions of the digital asset ecosystem, including institutional-grade infrastructure, compliance pathways, stablecoins and global payment trends, integration of traditional and decentralized finance, RWA tokenization, and the latest developments in the Ethereum ecosystem.
The forum aimed to serve as a key catalyst connecting the digital asset and traditional finance worlds, injecting new momentum into Hong Kong's integrated financial ecosystem through practical dialogue and fostering mutual understanding and collaboration between traditional finance and the crypto industry.

Ethereum HK Hub Unveiled: Laying a New Foundation for the Ecosystem
The forum also witnessed a highly anticipated highlight moment: Duncan Chiu, Legislative Council Member (Technology and Innovation Functional Constituency); Tomasz Stańczak, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation; Gilles Shi, CEO of SNZ Holding; and Gavin Wang, CIO of SNZ Holding, jointly unveiled the Ethereum Hong Kong Hub. Numerous ecosystem partners were present to witness this milestone.

The Hub is initiated by SNZ with support from the Ethereum Foundation's ETH Everywhere team. It is planned to be located at New World Town Hall and will be jointly operated by SNZ and ETHTAO. Dozens of renowned institutions and ecosystem partners have actively participated, spanning venture capital, technical infrastructure, developer communities, and cultural innovation, collectively building a complete and vibrant ecosystem support network.
The Ethereum Hong Kong Hub is committed to building a critical bridge connecting the global Ethereum ecosystem with Asian markets, providing comprehensive support for developers, startups, and professional institutions, with a focus on promoting the innovative application and practical implementation of core Ethereum technologies.
The establishment of this key infrastructure not only injects new vitality into Hong Kong's Web3 ecosystem but will also powerfully consolidate Hong Kong's core position as a global digital asset hub.
The launch of the Ethereum Hong Kong Hub marks Hong Kong's strategic layout in the Web3 domain entering a substantive implementation phase. A more prosperous and interconnected new landscape for digital finance is unfolding here. With the continuous convergence of global resources and the growth of innovative forces, Hong Kong is poised to become a core driver of the next-generation internet transformation, leveraging its unique locational advantages and robust ecosystem foundation.
